Tomorrow we will announce publicly a total Dell contribution of RMB 2.1 million to the China disaster relief efforts. As we work to help bring our teams out of harm’s way, we recognize the thousands of families that are and will be impacted by these disasters. Dell is taking swift action to help, and you can lend your support to directly help those in need:

Our Direct Giving tool is currently only available to U.S. and Canadian employees. It is open year-round and provides an opportunity to give to a charity of your choice and specify where you would like your funds directed. For all other locations, donations will be managed at the country-level. Please continue to visit the Web site for more details on how you can contribute.

Dell matches your Direct Giving donations, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 per employee.
