德国吉他大师Axel Rudi Pell：
诞生於1960年的德国吉他英雄Axel Rudi Pell，可谓为德国美旋律式硬式摇滚的最佳代言人！在其音乐生涯迈入第18个年头时，依然一本初衷秉持著对於Hard Rock的坚持，交出了<Oceans of Time>这张漂亮的成绩单！
从1981年到1988年间，与乐团Steeler的合作，在80年代中期便是一个相当成功及受欢迎的组合，而Axel从1989年展开个人solo的旅程后，却是受到更多的喝彩！Axel的音乐风格深受70年代Rainbow的影响，他可说是吉他传奇人物Ritchie Blackmore的头号大乐迷！另一位对其创作灵感也有相当贡献的，则是Yngwie Malmsteen，这点在此张专辑中同样能够得到验证。这张<Oceams Of Time>专辑在音乐上当然是Axel最擅长的美旋律HR/HM，和前卫没任何关系，由Axel个人包办了全部的词曲创作，从狂野奔放的速弹到柔美动人的慢节奏曲，Axel以其炉火纯青的吉他美技，将丰沛的情感幻化为一幕幕动人的乐章！
